Confidence driving the textile industry: Heimtextil 2026 sharpened its global market relevance by attracting more top-level decision-makers

Frankfurt am Main, 16 January 2026. With 148 participating nations, rising global relevance and a marked increase in visitor quality, Heimtextil 2026 stood for stability and reliability in a volatile market environment. Once again, 3,000 exhibitors from across the globe placed their trust in the industry’s central platform in Frankfurt, presenting current collections, materials and textile solutions for holistic interior design to approximately 47,000 buyers. Under the motto “Lead the Change”, Heimtextil brought evolving market dynamics, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and new business opportunities to life. The focus was on progressive design approaches, visionary talents, functional textiles and new hospitality concepts shaping the future of interior design. A tangible sense of confidence and a clear commitment to Heimtextil as a strong industry partner resonated throughout the exhibition halls.

€3.7 billion a year in socio-economic effects

Frankfurt am Main, 4 December 2025 Messe Frankfurt has continued its profitable course in 2025. Key figures remain consistently high. The company expects over €766 million in sales for the current financial year, together with healthy profits. At the same time, Messe Frankfurt is a strong economic engine for its city and region and for the country as a whole. According to a recent study by Prognos, Messe Frankfurt events generate an annual total of €3.7 billion in socio-economic effects along the overall value chain throughout Germany. Of this, €2.1 billion is attributable to Frankfurt. Approximately 30,000 jobs are secured across the country. The resulting tax revenue will be €667 million.

Our commitment to sustainability is part of our responsibility towards the environment and other people – as a socially responsible enterprise, venue operator and event organiser. Our sustainable business practices are geared towards the 17 Sustainable Development Goals. Messe Frankfurt is a signatory of the Net Zero Carbon Events Pledge and has been EMAS-certified since 2023.
